A cat doesn't "take away problems". A cat helps you stop and return to the here and now. Its calm movement, predictability, warmth and gentle presence act as a natural regulator of tension and stress.

During relaxation sessions with cats, we combine their presence with simple mindfulness techniques, breathing and self-regulation – so that body and mind can gently exit the mode of tension and overload.

How a session looks:

  • Intimate space (1:1 or small group)
  • Gentle introduction and safety rules
  • Time in silence with cats (contact or observation – always voluntary)
  • Simple mindfulness exercises (no pressure, no "correct execution")
  • Brief closure and tips on how to maintain the relaxation effect
