Non-medical sensory and emotional support – for children and adults.
Note: Sessions have a supportive, non-medical character. They do not constitute medical therapy or psychotherapy and do not replace diagnosis, treatment or rehabilitation. If needed, we collaborate with specialist recommendations.
Children – when to consider supportive activities:
- Hypersensitivity to stimuli (sound, touch, crowds)
- Difficulty with calming down and falling asleep
- Emotional tension, anxiety, withdrawal
- Need to build a safe relationship and self-confidence
- Difficulty with concentration and arousal regulation
How we work with children:
- No pressure on touch and interaction – the child can just observe
- Predictable meeting ritual (sense of security)
- Elements of mindfulness and calm activities with cats
- Learning to recognize body signals: "what I feel, what I need"
- Parent/guardian participation according to facilitator's recommendations
Adults – sensory and regulatory support:
- Stimulus overload, stress, tension
- High sensitivity / neurodiversity
- Difficulty with rest "in the head"
- Need for calm contact and safe routine
