Frequently asked questions

Is this therapy?

Sessions at the Instytut Kota Savabi have the character of non-medical wellbeing support. We do not diagnose and do not conduct treatment. If needed, we encourage consultation with a specialist.

What if I don't want to touch the cat?

That's completely natural. During sessions with cats, contact is always voluntary – mere presence and calm observation also support the relaxation process.

Does the child have to "know how to behave"?

No. Sessions for children are conducted in an atmosphere of gentleness and support. We introduce rules calmly and without pressure. If the child has difficulties with calming down, concentration or emotion regulation – we adjust the meeting format.

Are the cats safe?

Yes. During sessions with cats, we ensure proper animal selection, their wellbeing and clear contact rules. The cat always has space, choice and the ability to withdraw from interaction.

Can I come if I'm in crisis?

You can come for a relaxation and wellbeing session. However, if you feel you need clinical or therapeutic support, it's worth consulting with a specialist in parallel.
